The fourth workshop and survey to train enumerators to establish the right to food through knowledge generation and advocacy was held from May 13 to 14, 2024 at the Ecumenical Institute for Study & Dialogue, Colombo 06.

Senior Researcher and Analyst Mr. Nalaka Attanayake and Public Health Advisor Mr. Gemunu Saliya Perera participated as resource persons during those two days.

Representing FIAN Sri Lanka, Executive Director Mr. Thilak Kariyawasam, President Mr. S. Vishwalingam, Food Program Specialist Mr. Fazly Mohammed, Program Manager Mr. Asanka Ratnayake and Project Coordinator Mrs. Shehari Wijesinghe also made their presentations. Apart from that, The Asia Foundation’s BCS program officer (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion – GESI) Ms.Pumudu Jayasuriya also participated in it.

The workshop and survey were implemented with the support of the Bolstering Civil Society (BCS) program with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
