The second day of the World Food Day Educational Exhibition and Practical Workshop 2025

The People’s Tribunal on Land, Mining, Environmental Inclusion and Economic Justice in Sri Lanka was held on 27.10.2025 at the Colombo Public Library Auditorium.

It was organized by the Sri Lankan Chapter of the Fight Inequality Alliance (FIA). It was conducted in collaboration with FIAN Sri Lanka and Women development innovators.

A wide audience participated in the Tribunal and came together to share their concerns.

The expert committee comprised Dr. A. M. S. Atthapattu, Dr. Ramesh Ramasamy, Mr. Sathivel Balakrishnan, Dr. Nadeeka Damayanthi (University of Kelaniya), Ms. Pushparani Figuerado (CHRD) and Mr. Namal Rajapaksa, Attorney at Law.

FIA Regional Coordinator Abhishek Shesta participated in the event as an observer.
