TRADE UNION WORKSHOP
Trade unions are playing a key role in affirming any right of humans in a country. On the other hand, they have a responsibility to struggle affirming their own rights and others rights as well as citizens in a country.
Hence, FIAN Sri Lanka Successfully conducted a 2days workshop program for trade unions in three different sectors such as government sector, Semi government sector and Private sector on Right to Food and Nutrition on 26th, and 27th, in Sea shine beach hotel in Uswetakeyyawa.
The program included,
1. Introduction of Right to Food and Nutrition
2. Nutrition month declared by Ministry of Health
3.FIAN role in right to food and nutrition
Participants enjoyed the program and spent time in an effective way within 2 days with inspiration and motivation!
Finally, they prepared three action plans for working in RtFN in each sector.
