In conjunction with the World Indigenous Day on the 9th, a meeting was held with the Indigenous community in Sri Lanka on the theme “Challenges to the tribe – Let’s overcome the challenges that block the way of lifestyle” on the evening of the 8th of August at Morabedda Thuru Sevana in the Dambana Adivasi Village. This was organized by the Dambana Aboriginal Heritage Centre. It was co-sponsored by Fian Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Green Movement.
