Enumerators training workshop – Anuradhapura
Enumerators training workshop and survey to ensure right to food through knowledge generation and advocacy was held from 27th to 29th April 2024 – National Institute of Post Harvest Management, Anuradhapura.
Accordingly, the April 27 and 28, 2024 training workshop was held for Tamil speaking enumerators in Mullaitivu, Mannar, Batticaloa and Puttalam districts and the April 28 and 29 training workshop was held for Sinhala speaking enumerators in Puttalam and Anuradhapura districts.
During those two days, Social Consultant Mrs. Kalyani Baladas, Specialist Dr. Kalaichelvan, Senior Researcher and Analyst Mr. Nalaka Attanayake, Public Health Advicer Mr. Gemunu Saliya Perera and BCS Project Manager Mr. Mohammad Ziad also participated in the event.
In addition, representing FIAN Sri Lanka, President S. Viswalingam, Food Program Specialist Mr. Fazly Mohammed and Project Coordinator Mrs. Shehari Wijesinghe also participated and presented their views.
This workshop and survey was implemented with the support of the Bolstering Civil Society (BCS) program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
