Inauguration Of LOADI GROVE

“LOADI GROVE” Research and Training Center on Organic Farming, Ecological Farming, Regenerative Farming and Analogous Forestry was opened to the community on World Environment Day (06/05/2024). It is in “Dikhena Estate”, The Village Mawatha, Kudamadwa, Mattegoda, Polgasovita area.

 

Indegenous leader, Vanaspathi Uruvarige Vannilatthan was the chief guest on the occasion. Along with that Mr. Amrit Jayawardene (Ridge to reef lanka), Mr. Ranil Senanayakeka (Earth restoration), Mrs. Samadani Kirivandeniya (Sanasa International Company, Managing Director) also participated as invited guests.

 

Aiming at the World Environment Day, this program was organized by the Lanka Organic Agriculture Movement and FIAN Sri Lanka, led by Lodi Grove Training Center Chairman Mr. Avi De Silva and Mr. Thilak Kariyawasam.

 

Mr. S. Vishwalingam (Administrative Manager), Mr. Athula Priyantha (Secretary / Project Manager), Mr. Ajantha Palihavadana (Project Director), Mr. Fazly Mohammed (Director), Mrs. Nadira Priyadarshani (Field Project Coordinator), Ms. Shirani Fernando (Finance Manager), Mr. Rasika Kumarage (Technical Advisor), Nanda Udumalagala (Project Trainer), LOAM and FIAN Sri Lanka staff members also contributed to make this event a success.
